Native to the Sierra Madre, the Gould's turkey is highly sought after by the hunting community. The traditional Thanksgiving turkey is modeled after the Gould's.
The Gould's wild turkey is the largest of the subspecies and has more white feathers than the others. It is integral to complete a Grand Slam.
At Rancho Antrialgo, we are members of the National Wild Turkey Federation and have been featured in the Federation's publications.
